The Takedown: Christmas Decorations

When is the official deadline to accept that Christmas is over, and it’s time to take all of your decorations down? That is definitely the question of the hour! When I say we enjoyed every bit of our holiday decorations, I mean we truly enjoyed every bit, but all great things must come to an end! Really, is it over? The holidays are such a great time and its hard to say goodbye. But yeah, its OVER!

OK, so we’re not going to pretend that we are super happy about it. I mean come on….for some of us, we got to spend two months (in some cases even three months) coming home, walking through the front door into a a beautiful winter wonderland full of fake snow, trees, glitter, and anything else Christmas related! I mean who would not want to wake up to that everyday!

After goofing off and enjoying a little bit of wine, we got down to business and started taking down the decorations. Lets just be real any occasion to get together and drink wine/champagne we are always down! But, who said taking down Christmas decorations had to be boring? Side Note: Grab a friend, order a pizza, drink some champagne and make it fun!! Since we knew we would be doing some “heavy lifting” we both dressed super comfy. Camille wore a pink Nike pullover with a pair of comfy Victoria Secret yoga leggings, and I wore a black lace up DKNY sweatshirt paired with a pair of pink and black Lululemon leggings.

To make sure everything stays in tact and organized for next year, we bought several storage containers from Amazon to store everything in for easy use next year! Let us know your Christmas decor take down process!
